“ This place has the best food in Canon Beach. The food is interesting, crafted, and delicious. The menu is much more interesting. The staff is also very friendly. The atmosphere is great as well. I highly recommend it, especially for a birthday or date night. The curry dish and lobster bisque are amazing. ”
“ Castaways is our favorite place to eat in Cannon Beach, and believe me, weve tried nearly all of them over the years. We come out here at least twice a year and never miss an opportunity to enjoy their latest seasonal food offerings and their insane cocktails. My hubby said that tonights pork cheek jambalaya was some of the best hes had since he left New Orleans 25 years ago. And as odd as it sounds, the smattering of blueberries was a surprisingly successful addition that gave it just a pop of PNW flair.And my Parmesan crusted petrale sole was also fantastic... crisp, flavorful coating over moist fish, with creamy mashers and crisptender fresh veggies. I wouldnt say it exactly fit in with the CaribbeanTiki Bar theme, but it was delicious and well prepared. And the cocktails more than made up for whatever thematic elements may have been missing in the fish. The Zombie and the Rum Punch were strong, complex and not overly sweet. Add in the excellent service, and Castaways is just the full package. ”

“ Very good food, overall incredible dishes that were well worth the price. I got the creole and it was great, only complaint was that on a spice level of 34 it wasnt particularly spicy, but thats more of a personal issue with spice levels. Please visit if you have the time! And money ”

We we were a party of 6 on 4125 we were there shortly after opening and this place not only had absolutely AMAZING SERVICE, FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE...but they stayed open a little later for us everyone was absolutely wonderful. 10 stars on the Jerk Chicken dinner and the Creole Shrimp Etufee stunning completely stunning! The most amazing, Shirley Temples ever! ”
